Terms of Service

1. What Scriptforge is
Scriptforge lets you paste a link to a reference video (or upload one directly) and generates a ready-to-film script based on that video’s structure and pacing, rewritten with original wording around your topic. Scriptforge is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, or any other platform your reference videos may come from.
2. Your account
You need an account to use Scriptforge. You’re responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must provide an accurate email address, since it’s used to verify your account and for important service communications.
3. Plans and billing
Scriptforge offers a Free plan with limited monthly scripts, and paid Pro and Studio plans with higher or unlimited limits. Paid plans are billed on a recurring monthly basis through Stripe. You can cancel anytime; your plan remains active until the end of the billing period you’ve already paid for. We don’t offer prorated refunds for partial billing periods except where required by law.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use reference videos you don’t have the right to view or reference
- Use Scriptforge to generate content that is illegal, defamatory, or infringes someone else’s rights
- Attempt to abuse, overload, or circumvent usage limits (including creating multiple accounts to bypass plan limits)
- Reverse-engineer, scrape, or resell access to the service
- Upload video files you don’t have the right to upload
5. Generated content
Scripts generated through Scriptforge are yours to use. Scriptforge is designed to produce original wording rather than copying a reference video’s specific words, but it’s an AI system and we can’t guarantee any specific output is fully free of resemblance to existing content. You’re responsible for reviewing generated scripts before publishing or filming them, including making sure your use of any reference video and the resulting script complies with applicable law and any rights of the original creator.
6. Third-party services
Scriptforge relies on third-party services to work: Google’s Gemini API to analyze reference videos and generate scripts, Stripe to process payments, and Resend to send account emails. Your use of Scriptforge means these services will process the relevant data as described in our Privacy Policy.
7. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, including abusive signup patterns or misuse of the service. You can delete your account at any time from your account settings, which removes your scripts and account data as described in our Privacy Policy.
8. No warranty
Scriptforge is provided “as is.” We don’t guarantee the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that generated scripts will meet any particular standard of quality or originality. Reference video fetching depends on third-party platforms that can change how they work at any time, which may affect whether a given video can be processed.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Scriptforge is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including any claims related to content you generate or reference videos you provide.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we’ll make a reasonable effort to let you know, such as by email or an in-app notice.
